cDNA SYNTHESIS – Ribonuclease inhibitor
Amamus RNH1 Ribonuclease inhibitor(RNase Inhibitor) is a recombinant protein of murine origin which specifically inhibits RNases A, B and C but not RNase H, RNase 1, RNase T1, and S1 nuclease. In addition, no inhibition of polymerase activity is observed and is compatible with RT-PCR enzymes such as M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase and Taq DNA polymerase.
| Catalog # | Concentration | Size |
|---|---|---|
| PBIRH0030 | 2,000 units | |
| 10,000 units |
Application
- RNA-based molecular diagnostic assays. (e.g., RT-PCR)
- cDNA synthesis
- In vitro Transcription -Translation
- Other applications where the integrity of RNA is important.
Features
- RNase inhibition: Active against RNase A, RNase B and RNase C.
- No downstream inhibition: As safe-guard to against potential RNase contamination in RT-PCR without inhibiting polymerase activity.
Validation Data

Figure. Amamus RNH1 Ribonuclease Inhibitor offers the great RNA protection against RNase A.
1.6 μg of MS2 RNA was incubated with 20 Units of Amamus RNH1 RNase Inhibitor and 250 pg, 500 pg, 1 ng, 5 ng and 10 ng of RNase A (lanes 3-7) at 37°C
for 15 min. Controls were no Amamus RNH1 RNase Inhibitor (lane 2) and substrate MS2 RNA only (lane 1). The result shows that RNH1 RNase Inhibitor can protect RNA against 1ng RNase A.
